Amitis Capital Limited acts as the general partner of a number of limited partnerships without the need for regulation by the JFSC on the basis that each of those partnerships is a professional investor regulated scheme as defined in the Financial Services (Investment Business (Restricted Investment Business – Exemption)) (Jersey) Order 2001 (the “PIRS Order“). Amitis Wealth Management Limited provides investment advisory and investment management services exclusively to professional investor regulated schemes and so is likewise is exempt from regulation by the JFSC.
